From The Past: March 17, 2008

Kevin was off from teaching last week because of spring break. You would think we probably did something exciting, but we kept with the same routine as always. Since Ashley was in school it would have been impossible for us to have stayed up late and then gotten up early to take her to school. Kevin didn’t have to get up early every day, and he did sleep a little later one day, however as quiet as we try to be, Ashley and I still have to move about and get dressed. This doesn’t make it easy for someone who is trying to sleep. Fortunately, Kevin doesn’t mind rising early.

We both enjoy reading and spending time on the computer, so that is how we mainly spent our time. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy YouTube. I am reliving my childhood through old commercials and some TV show themes I haven’t seen in YEARS such as:

Count Chocula, Wendy’s, Calgon, Oscar Mayer Bologna, Life cereal, Chi-Chi’s, Time For Timer (You Are What You Eat), Froot Loops, Muppet Babies, DZ-The Discovery Zone, ShowBiz Pizza Place, My Buddy / Kid Sister, Atari, Great Shape Barbie, Barbie Dream Cottage, He Man, Cabbage Patch Kids, Bargain Hunter Board Game and so many more!

I could watch commercials from the 70’s and 80’s all day!
