From The Past: February 29, 2008
Today is my dad’s birthday. Imagine that! He gets to celebrate his birthday on the actual day and we get an extra day added to our year. Unfortunately the weather hasn’t improved. It is now not only cold, but also rainy. I made another pot of chili for dinner tonight. When it’s cold outside, I crave hot foods.

We gave dad a gift card for Friday’s which I know he liked. I believe gift cards are wonderful! I am happy to give them and happy to get them.
That’s so cool that he has such a wonderful birthday. It’s neat to look back and see the beginning of gift card giving. I didn’t start getting them till about 2012. I love getting them as well, and giving them his gifts!!!! Happy Birthday to your Dad!!!
