From The Past: November 20, 2007

I love reality TV and TLC (The Learning Channel) offers a lot of it. Below, I have listed the shows I watch.

I can hardly wait for the premier of London Ink. If you have watched Miami Ink, you know this show is about a tattoo shop and the guys who run it. I don’t have any tattoos, but I love watching other people get them. It takes a lot of talent and is another form of art.

Little People, Big World is a show for the entire family. It’s about the Roloff family running their farm in Oregon.

Another wonderful show for the entire family is Jon & Kate plus 8. Kate (the mom) could not get pregnant so she tried fertility drugs. She got pregnant with twins. After that, they wanted another child so she took fertility drugs again and got pregnant with 6 babies! This show documents their lives with eight children. This is my favorite show on The Learning Channel, so I hope they keep filming this family.

Flip That House shows what happens when someone buys a house and wants to remodel or “flip” it in order to gain more money. It is very interesting to see the strategies these people use in order to flip a house and make a buck. I don’t think I would ever be brave enough to gut my whole kitchen or bathroom in order to get newer things. I think I would go crazy during the process!
