From The Past: October 14, 2004
I wait at Ashley’s school every afternoon for about an hour for her to be dismissed. I don’t have to do this, but I, along with many other moms and grandmas, like to get there early to get a good parking spot. I used to use this time to read, but that was BG (before Guido). Kevin and I took him for a walk one day when we were waiting and now, he thinks he has to go every day when we get there. If I didn’t take him, he would just whine and it’s not worth it.
On Tuesday a lady stopped me and told me about her pug. On Wednesday she actually brought her friend’s pug with her. The pug was a little girl named Lulu and probably seven or eight weeks old.
I let Guido off of his leash to play with her and it was the most amazing sight! It was like they knew that they were the same breed. They rolled over on each other, nipped each other’s fat rolls, held each other down, and chased each other around. They had a blast and it was absolutely adorable seeing the two of them together.
