From The Past: April 24, 2009

I received several exciting things in the mail yesterday.

Now, you all know how much I love and adore my husband. He is intelligent, handsome, witty, kind, gentle, and so much more. There are not many men who would pay $2.10 for one – ONE milk chocolate Godiva truffle for their wife.

Kevin is the one for me, BUT ….. I do quite enjoy looking at Mike Rowe from the TV show Dirty Jobs. He also seems to have a terrific personality and is very funny. So, when I opened my mailbox and saw Kevin’s copy of Outside magazine I was very pleased.

Via UPS, I received a vintage 80’s croquet set which I won on eBay.

We had one exactly like this when I was growing up, but dad had to throw it away because it was left outside. I paid a pretty penny for it, but to me, it is worth it. I plan to play a lot.
