In The Garden

From The Past: April 19, 2009

The beauty of a tulip is short lived, so I enjoy going to the cemetery whenever it is possible to get a few pictures.

These are from yesterday.

Some people may tire of these pictures, but I never do.

While in the garden, we saw a bride and her bridesmaids having their pictures taken:

Then there was this little darling patiently awaiting her turn:

Ashley believes it is morbid to have such festivities in a cemetery; however, she may change her mind once she is older.

Update 4/19/25

Because the number of people taking photographs has increased so much, the cemetery has been forced to make changes. Unfortunately, not everyone has been respectful of those visiting to pay respects to their loved ones. Also, not all parents watch their children and make sure they aren’t jumping around on the monuments.
