From The Past: February 8, 2009

After all the ice and snow of the past week, today was truly a treat. It was warm enough that Kevin and I were both comfortable in t-shirts and zip-up hoodies.

We took Guido to Lexington, parked on Vine, and walked up Main Street to Forest Avenue. Once around the Bell House, we walked back to the car. It was so nice being out in the sun. I didn’t take any pictures because I had Guido and I wanted to focus on him, but I did see several things I would like to photograph next time I walk that way. The architecture on many of the buildings is beautiful.

This afternoon as I sat out back, I smelled someone grilling out what I believe was steak. Once I told Ashley how good it smelled, she wanted a hamburger. I have to admit, it did sound very good.

And Kevin grilled out our first cheeseburgers of 2009:

Yes, they were good.
