Aeropostale After Christmas

From The Past: December 27, 2008

Ashley’s dream came true as far as Christmas gifts went this year. People gave her cash along with gifts so she could pick out things she wanted, instead of receiving a lot of clothes that didn’t fit or she would never wear. Some people may think that sounds shallow, however no one wants a gift they can’t use.

She wanted to spend her money today so we took her to Aeropostale which is our new home-away-from-home these days.

In the picture below, to the left, you can see how long the line was to get to the register. We were standing near the entrance doors and there were still people behind us.

Honestly, it didn’t take long to check out.

Ashley bought sweat pants, pajama shorts, pajama pants, sweat pants, a coat, some Hoodies, a t-shirt …

Polo shirts, Camis, more t-shirts, and a bag.

She also bought this vanity table, bench, and a new lamp:

Once she added all of her accessories, it looked like this:

She loves the drawer which holds her make-up perfectly:

Anytime I see a vanity table or hear someone mention one, my mind immediately goes to the Flowers in the Attic book series. If you have ever read these books, you will know where I am coming from. In fact, in most V.C. Andrews books, there is always someone who has a vanity table.
