How To Bake Pumpkin Seeds

After you have cleaned all the orange pumpkin from your pumpkin seeds and drained the water as best you can:

Pat the seeds dry as best you can with a towel and then add 2 Tbsp melted butter, ½ tsp garlic powder, and ½ tsp seasoning salt and stir. Make sure all seeds are well coated.

Heat your oven to 300 degrees. Spread the seeds on an ungreased cookie sheet. Let them bake 20 minutes, flip them over and then let them bake for another 18 to 20 minutes. They will get crisp.

As you will see below, the seeds from one pumpkin make a small batch, but to me it is worth it!

They are very addictive!

* In previous years, I have always used stick butter. This year I opted to use I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter because it has zero calories. I can honestly say, there is absolutely no difference in taste.
