From The Past: September 23, 2008

Ashley’s school is having mandatory sign-ups for in-school clubs. I have absolutely no problem with this since the clubs meet during the normal school day. The student picks their top three choices from the list and then they are placed in one of the clubs.

As far as we can remember, some of the clubs to choose from were:

* Scrapbooking Club

* Chess Club

* Walking Club

* Key Chain Making Club

* Beading/Jewelry Club

* Book Club

* Sign Language Club

* Board Games Club

* Crocheting/Knitting Club

* Beta Club

* Junior Civitan Club

* Line Dancing Club

* Corn Hole Club

Ashley chose:

#1 Walking

#2 Board Games

#3 Beading/Jewelry

I think these were good choices for her and they sound like lots of fun.

After months of hot weather, I made a pot of chili. I had been craving it!
