From The Past: August 27, 2008

Mom was doing just fine when I visited with her today. In fact, she had made a big plate of fried green tomatoes, bacon, and eggs. I did succumb to the wonderful display and aroma of the fried green tomatoes. I had two slices and they were pure bliss!

This hummingbird was outside their kitchen window:

They are fast!

I took the following pictures inside my VUE while waiting for Ashley to be dismissed from school:

On my right leg, you see my book. What you don’t see is the Pug on my left leg sleeping like a baby. He still thinks he’s a puppy.

Now I am off to wash some dishes. Ashley made spaghetti.
