From The Past: August 15, 2008

Yesterday my dad wanted to replace his old chandelier with a newer, much larger one. Kevin assembled it and then he and my dad worked collectively on the installation.

As dad worked atop the ladder with wires, I decided to take a flash photo:

I thought dad was going to download right there in his pants! He threw a fit! Kevin understood dad’s feelings, but he still got a kick out of it. As a matter of fact, he laughed as he looked at that picture again tonight. It just reminded him of my little mistake.

How was I supposed to know the flash from a camera could look like a lightening bolt to someone holding wires?!
