From The Past: April 1, 2008

I’m happy these trees are right across the street:

They make me happy when they’re in bloom or just green. I open the front door and there they are in their full glory. It’s hard to look at them and have a negative thought.

I also love these daffodils:

Each time I drive by this tree, the daffodils make me cheerful. In a month or so, they will be gone and replaced with colorful tulips.

It’s official: the grey has left Kentucky and the colors have arrived.
