From The Past: November 18, 2006

For my Aunt Patt’s birthday, we traveled to Irish Acres in Nonesuch, Kentucky and ate at The Glitz.

When entering Irish Acres, you feel you have fallen into a magical wonderland. The smells are overwhelmingly wonderful, the music classical, calm, and relaxing. You immediately feel as though time no longer matters and all you want to do is stroll through each uniquely decorated room and gaze at the wonder of what lies before you.

The same feelings overcome you when you enter The Glitz; the restaurant located in the lower level of Irish Acres. Every bite must be savored and remembered.

This is a fairytale place and I highly recommend a visit.
