From The Past: October 31, 2006

The rain held off. I didn’t think it was going to, but it did.

We walked from house to house for about an hour. Purple and orange lights shone through the darkness. Fog machines and scary music added to the entire trick-or-treating experience.

After walking, we went down to a church where they had an inflatable slide and games set up all over the gym. Ashley ended up getting tons of candy.

The only gripe I have is with the parents who sit in their cars and drive slowly watching their kids go from house to house. If they have a medical reason to stay in their cars, that’s okay, otherwise it’s just lazy. If they want their kids to trick-or-treat, they should walk with them. Other than that, it was a perfect night 🙂
