From The Past: October 6, 2006
8-3-06 V for Vendetta
This is one of Andrew’s favorite movies and I really enjoyed it.
8-8-06 Holes
Ashley had been asking me for forever to watch this with her, so I finally did. It was actually a good movie.
8-10-06 The Bishop’s Wife
This movie did more for me than I can explain. It was good and innocent and I watched it at a time when I needed a mental healing of sorts. The story takes place during Christmas and I needed a little of that Christmas spirit back in the first weeks of August.
8-18-06 The McCourts of New York
This is a documentary based on the McCourt family. Frank McCourt is the author of Angela’s Ashes as well as others. As you well know, I adore his writing, so I had to order this documentary from Barnes & Noble.
8-24-06 Postcards from the Edge
This was a fun movie to watch. There were many famous faces and they were all so young!
**I have no date for this because there were so many episodes and we watched them all summer whenever we could. We watched all five seasons of Six Feet Under
It takes a very open mind to watch this show because there are so many things that could be offensive. I loved it though!
Those were all the movies for August.
I loved Six Feet Under too. Their final episode was the BEST ending to a series that I have ever seen.
I agree 100% and so does our son, Andrew!
