Ashley pains me sometimes. She used to be such a girly-girl, and she still is, but there is one exception: her hair.
I am not allowed to put it in any style, using any pretty things.
I have a whole drawer full of these:
But, if I even suggest using them she gets herself in a tizzy.
Just this morning I suggested using something pretty in her hair and she very adamantly told me no. I put it in a plain old ponytail and that was it.
It was a big deal that she even let me do her hair this morning without a fuss. Four days out of the week, she goes to school looking like this little girl:

I know her teachers think why doesn’t her mom do something with her hair? Believe me, if I had my way, she would be dolled up every day.
I don’t know what happened.
Lol!!! She was the bow generation!!!! Literally. When I was a kid, they didn’t have all this stuff for girls.I remember friends having special canisters and organizing tools for all these bows. I remember the bow craze! I bet she’d love to have someone do her hair for her these days. I’m growing my hair out and it’s such a pain in the butt to manage!!!!
