From The Past: July 22, 2006

Yesterday we stopped by Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. I have eaten plenty of these doughnuts in my time, but had never visited an actual store.

It was clean and bright, but the coolest thing was getting to watch them make the glazed doughnuts:

Kids of all ages stood at the windows and stared while a curtain of white sugar sprayed each hot, delicious doughnut. (It makes me hungry thinking about it.)

My favorite Krispy Kreme’s are the Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled and the Glazed Raspberry Filled. I ate one of each and had icy cold milk to drink.

It was pure perfection.
