From The Past: April 19, 2006

Today marks the first afternoon I get to watch my nieces from 3 until 5 PM:

Their daddy joined the National Guard and left Monday. He will be gone for six months. I have many mixed emotions about this whole situation, but I will not express them here. As Forrest Gump said, “And that’s all I have to say about that.”
