From The Past: October 9, 2005

Earlier this week, mom and dad gave us all of these tomatoes from their backyard:

Kevin decided he would try his hand at making salsa with them since we could never use them all before they went bad. We went to the farmers market on Vine Street in Lexington and bought some small, dark green peppers to put in the salsa (I cannot recall their name). We also bought these hot banana peppers since we hadn’t had any all summer:

We couldn’t leave the market without buying Ashley a rose.
