From The Past: October 4, 2005

Years ago, my dad carved the leaves and pumpkins (below) as place settings for Thanksgiving. I love using them as part of my holiday decorations.

Below is a stuffed Sylvester and several McDonald’s candy dispensers.

As of 2021: I still use the pumpkins in the first picture as decorations. For years, I displayed them with the names facing front where you could read them. Since both Andrew and Ashley have moved out, I turn all the names to the back so you only see orange pumpkins. I no longer have the leaves. If I remember correctly, some of their points broke off.

In the second picture, I still have and decorate with the McDonald’s candy dispensers, but I no longer have Sylvester. I have no idea what became of him.
