This is the latest photo of mamma Ashley and baby Guido:

She loves it when he lays this way!

Currently (2021): This week, I opted to reread a book I had read for the first-time way back in sixth grade. It’s a chapter book, but much shorter than what I am used to as an adult.

There are certain books that always have a way of staying with you and this is the book for me. It is fittingly called: From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler and was written and illustrated by E. L. Konigsburg.

It won a John Newberry Medal “For the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children”. I have to agree; this is a most distinguishing book. It is about a girl named Claudia, who convinces her brother, Jamie to run away from home. Claudia carefully plans their every step and wants Jamie to manage the money and use his own money in the process.

The fantastic part about Claudia’s arrangement is, she plans to stow away at the Metropolitan Museum of Art In New York. She studied information and maps and knows the layout of everything.

She and Jamie’s adventures in the museum are priceless! I enjoyed this book just as much now as I did in sixth grade. This book is timeless and makes me want to spent the night in a museum.
