Christmas Movies

From The Past: December 22, 2004

It’s so nice living with a great cook! Kevin made the cheese ball today that we’ll be eating on Friday. He also made a new recipe: pumpkin bars. After cutting them, I got a small sample and let me tell you, they are to die for! Last night he made his chocolate peanut butter pie for us. Andrew, Ashley, and I love it! It will be gone before Friday is here for sure! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJVbqq1yM48

We are all getting excited! We’ve been watching Christmas movies too! So far (not including cartoons) we’ve watched National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, The Homecoming, and Home for the Holidays. Home For The Holidays is actually a Thanksgiving movie, but it’s still entertaining. The Homecoming was the first ever Walton’s episode. The dad, mother, and grandfather were different in this episode. I’m so glad they recast these actors when they made the TV show. I can’t imagine liking it near as much without Ralph Waite, Michael Learned, and Will Geer. As far as National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation goes, it is by far the funniest Christmas movie there is. If you haven’t seen it, you need to rent it TODAY!
