From The Past: October 22, 2004

We weren’t quick enough getting the tomato leaves so the tobacco worm started his cocoon. This is what he looks like today:

We didn’t have a big enough jar, so we just kept him in a shoe box. I really hope that he survives. I would hate to think that we killed something so neat. He will end up being a large moth.
