From The Past: March 8, 2004

It’s official. I’m sick. Today has been a literal hell. I am raw from my nose to my mouth. I have blown and wiped so many times that my skin is now the color of a ripe strawberry.

Earlier, I tried to rub some Vicks – VapoRub Ointment on the tip of my nose and it felt like it was on fire. I couldn’t get that stuff off quick enough. It’s not good for raw skin – remember that! Since that didn’t work, I did the next best thing. I stuck my nose up to the jar and took long, deep breaths in and out for long periods of time. Vicks is strong stuff and I couldn’t smell a thing, so you know I’m very stopped up! I pray that I’ll be much, much better tomorrow 😉
