A few days ago, Gavin (our grandson) was showing signs of the flu. When he was tested at the doctor’s office, the results were negative. He did have an ear infection though and started taking Amoxicillin.

He had a few days off from school and was quarantined to his room just in case. Christina (his mom) and I talked on the phone and she said that he seemed to be feeling much better today, so he had a full day of school.

Tonight, after dinner, he was sick and currently has a temperature of 101.9. If that wasn’t bad enough, what’s worse is that because he seemed to be so much better today, they let him play with Amelia (his sister) all afternoon. Let’s pray that Gavin doesn’t have the flu and that Amelia doesn’t get sick as well. I feel terrible for him.
