From The Past: January 7, 2004

In Winchester, it’s been a warm 10 degrees outside. Ooh lets break out the bathing suits! NOT!

Even with the heat turned on, with these cool temperatures you can still count on some things staying the same. Some of the things that drive me batty:

1. Cold bed sheets: They don’t get warm until our bodies warm them.
2. When you wash your hands, the water is ice cold for the first three minutes. About the time you get all the soap off, the water heats up.
3. No matter how warm the house is, the toilet seat is always cold! EEK!
4. You have to warm up the car in the mornings. We don’t have a carport or a garage so I have to clear off all the ice and snow. What a joy this can be 🙂
