From The Past: December 30, 2003

A few nights ago, we watched Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl starring Johnny Depp. Last night we watched The Astronaut’s Wife which also stars Johnny Depp. You wouldn’t even know that this was the same person! When I think Of Johnny Depp, my mind immediately goes to What’s Eating Gilbert Grape or Edward Scissorhands. In Pirates of the Caribbean he looks and plays the part of Jack Sparrow to a T. I have never seen him look so clean cut as he did in The Astronaut’s Wife. This movie was a psychological science fiction thriller. It was good all the way to the end. Plus, if you want to see Johnny Depp look completely different, this is the movie that will do it.

The fifth season of Sex and the City came out today and guess who bought it?! I can’t wait to watch it tonight!!! Since we no longer get HBO, I have no idea what happened in season 5. Once this last season wraps up, I hope it doesn’t take long for the DVD to be released. I get anxious.
