From The Past: December 8, 2003

I love the old favorites when it comes to Christmas music: Bing Crosby, Johnny Mathis, Brenda Lee, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, I could go on and on. They sing the classics that we’re used to hearing and I will always love them and listen to them, but I would like to recommend a new Christmas CD to add to your collection. It’s the Hilary Duff – Santa Claus Lane CD and it is a blast to listen to!

Hilary Duff is the one who plays Lizzie on the Lizzie McGuire show on The Disney Channel. Ashley really wanted this CD and we bought it for her because she never asks for much. She had us playing it in the car before too long and now Kevin and I both love it. There are some very upbeat, catchy songs on there. Try it out on the headphones at Wal-Mart and you’ll see what I mean 🙂

Currently (2019): It is so ironic reading this right now because I am currently watching Lizzie McGuire on Disney+ and I was just thinking about the very CD that I mentioned above because it is so good. There are ten songs on the CD and not one of them that I don’t enjoy.

It’s funny how I recommended listening to a snippet of the CD on “the headphones at Walmart”. They no longer have this as an option and I bet many younger people won’t even remember them ever being there to begin with. Also, just the way that I have Walmart typed above (Wal-Mart) has changed. Who saw that coming?
