Today on my YouTube channel, I made Beefaroni for dinner. This is cheap, simple to make and goes a long way. All you need are four ingredients!
8 oz. elbow macaroni
2 lbs. ground beef
6 oz. tomato paste
½ onion chopped
Fry the ground beef in a large pan. Once cooked, drain off all the grease except for about a Tablespoon.
While the ground beef is cooking, boil the macaroni in a separate pan. Once it has cooked, drain off the water.
While the ground beef drains, fry your onions in the remaining grease until translucent.
Add the ground beef, tomato paste and macaroni to the pan of onions and stir. At this point, you are simply heating the tomato paste, so it only needs to remain in the pan for a minute before serving.
I first had this meal in elementary school. It is delicious, hearty and perfect for those nights when it is cold outside. It is excellent when paired with bread and tub butter.
*If you have people in your home who don’t like onions, you can leave them out.
