My Music

From The Past: July 29, 2003

I spent a lot of time today just sitting down and listening to old audio tapes and CD’s that I hadn’t heard in a while. You know, you spend good money on these things and then they just sit in a cabinet, CD holder, or drawer. About once every three months or more I try to go through them all. I especially like hearing the tapes that I made myself; the songs that I felt I just had to have so I recorded them off the radio. Those are the best! I can’t believe some of the songs that I liked. I know that I need to throw them away just to clear up some space but I can’t bring myself to do that just yet. Who knows, maybe in another three months or so I will.

I even listened to my Melrose Place CD! https://amzn.to/2yAOoeN

I think I buy different music. If someone looked at my CD collection who didn’t know me, I wonder what thoughts they would have? They would probably think that I was a pretty freaky person! Then again, I guess it would also depend on the age of the person looking.

I like all sorts of music: classical, big band, movie soundtracks, rap, heavy metal, country, church music, pop, Christmas music; there’s really nothing that I don’t like as long as I’m in the mood to hear it.
