Alpha Bits Cereal Bars

The Present (2019): Today on the Tami Dunn YouTube channel, I made Alpha Bits Cereal Bars. The written instructions can be found here: http://www.sippycupmom.com/make-reading-fun-kids-recipe-alpha-bits-cereal-bars/#comment-124374

To be honest, I wouldn’t make these again. I spotted the recipe on Pinterest and it sounded easy, but it wasn’t for me. It stayed sticky even after several hours of being completely cool. Also, the Kool Aid (the recommended flavor) didn’t lend itself to a great taste. I like the flavor of the cereal itself and think it would go well with butterscotch. If you try this recipe using a different flavor of Kool Aid, please let me know. I recommend washing the dishes immediately, in very hot water and by hand. I don’t think a dishwasher will get these dishes clean.

Kevin and I watched an odd little movie last night called One Hour Photo. It was just that: odd. There’s not much more to say about it. Today we watched Minority Report. It had a lot of action, but was kind of confusing. I enjoyed it; I just wish they had made things a little clearer. I want to watch another movie called Magnolia tonight if we have time. I think it’s about three hours long, so we’ll see what happens.

Andrew went to the movies with my sister to see The Matrix Reloaded. He is due home any time now. I’m sure that he enjoyed it!

  1. Would love to hear what Andrew ended up thinking when he came home fro the movies since the Matrix sequels were notoriously ill-received, especially among fans of the first.
