Currently (2019): This afternoon (March 16, 2019) was the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Lexington, but we didn’t go. It was beautiful outside, but very cold – too cold to stand outside for an hour. We did visit the cemetery, but we were only briefly outside the car. I was hoping to see more blooms on the trees, but it is still too early.
Ashley was gone all day. She attended a bridal luncheon, then she and the bridal party did one of those escape rooms. This evening, they ate dinner at Saul Good for the bride-to-be bachelorette party.

Fairies
What a beautiful days we have had yesterday and today! The sun was out and it was like summer! Yesterday we went to Lexington shopping. We went to Garden Ridge, Target, Michael’s, and Meijer. We also took Andrew by the card shop so that he could buy three Pyramid packs.
Today is Jennifer’s birthday. We bought her the first two Left Behind books. I know that she will really enjoy them. We took them by her house and then we went to Wal-Mart and did the grocery shopping for the week.
In the latest Family Fun magazine they showed how to make Fairies out of fake flowers and pipe cleaners. They looked so adorable that I just knew we had to try them out. Kevin is great with directions, so I knew that it was just a matter of following his lead. Needless to say, our fairies turned out beautifully and we had a blast together.
It was warm enough that we got to eat our dinner out back also. Kevin cooked out hamburgers and hotdogs and I fixed potato salad and deviled eggs. It was a wonderful day!
Sounds like fun!
