The House With Heart

Currently (2019): We went to Andrew & Christina’s tonight because they wanted to show us something. We had no idea what we were going to see, but we always enjoy spending time with them and the kids.

We made sure to take a few foods to them that we have reviewed, but will never eat. We tried two limited edition Honey Brunches of Oats cereals which were not good at all. One was called Chicken & Waffles and the other was Maple Bacon Donuts. I don’t see the POST company making these for long. The chicken one was especially funky and the bacon one made you feel as though you had been eating bacon bits. Bacon bits and cereal is not a good match. We also took them a few containers of ice cream. The ice cream was good, but we have a LOT of ice cream in the freezer.

When we walked in the door, we saw what Christina had been working on all day. Let me just say, she is a very artistic person. She loves to paint and create. Well, she had taken about fifty family photos and arranged them into a collage on the living room wall in the shape of a giant heart. It really is visually stunning. I love it. You can tell that the kids are the heart of the house.

Gavin read one of his books to me and Amelia watched a show on my phone. I turn YouTube on for her and always start with Mother Goose Club because that is what I remember. Somehow, she always ends up on LOL Surprise Dolls. I can’t wait until this Christmas. She’s going to get a big LOL Surprise.

Used Books

I started another Agatha Christie book yesterday called, “A Pocket Full of Rye”. I got twelve pages in and was very interested in the storyline. However, the pages skipped from 12 to 32. Part of the book had fallen out! I bought the book for virtually nothing, but I was really into it and it had a cool cover. I ended up trashing it because it does me no good if pages are missing. Even if I made copies from another copy of the book it would still not be “all original” and that is very important to me. I plan on going back to the Book Cellar in the Lexington Public Library very soon. Maybe I can find another copy there. I will be sure to look for missing pages from now on! Today I started Agatha Christie’s “Cat Among the Pigeons”. It has a very cool cover and all the pages are there!
