Friday night, Ashley reminded me that we were invited to a bridal shower on Saturday afternoon. We had some shopping we wanted to do, so we made a plan for the morning so we could get everything done before the shower was to begin.

So, this morning, we got up and dressed and headed to Hobby Lobby. It would seem that 9:30 AM is a great time to shop as there was hardly anyone in the store. Then, we headed to Home Goods. We were in there at 10:00. They have put out loads of new Easter items. I met this lovely lady:

After Home Goods, we headed to Meijer and then returned home to drop off some ice cream. After putting everything away, it was around noon, so we headed back out to Walmart to finish our shopping because the shower wasn’t supposed to start until 2 PM.

Back home from Walmart, I put on dress clothes. Ashley spent time on her make-up and put on a pretty dress. We are just about to put our coats on when Ashley received a picture from her friend (the one whose shower we were about to attend). She has sent a picture from the University of Kentucky basketball game. It’s senior day and she had her fiancée are attending the game.

We had the wrong date! Her bridal shower is tomorrow. At least we know what we’re wearing!
